According to my plans for 8th March I travelled to Sarajevo with my sister and my best friend. That was my fourth visit and I visited some places I have already liked and some new. Our walk started from the Old town, famous Bascarsia where you could feel the spirit of the Turkish Empire. You would be amazed with authenticity of variety jewellery and souvenir shops, coffee roasting stores, confectioneries, shops with handmade shoes and clothing and the other stores. Interesting thing was that there were mosque, church and synagogue in a small space. We did not resist tasting the famous kebabs and yogurt. My recommendation was Turkish coffee which was served on tray with coffee pot, sugar bowl and a cup. Of course, did not miss sweets like baklava, tufahia, halva...
We continued with walk to modern part of Sarajevo. At the 10th floor of the hotel Hecco deluxe , we visited the restaurant with a breathtaking view of the whole city. There you could meet B&H celebrities, Dino Merlin for example. For a short, we stopped in BBI shopping centre, where you could find various fashion brands... And the last place, where we enjoyed delicious cakes, was cafe restaurant Metropolis . My choice was the pohorski cake.
I'm sure you would be thrilled with the people who will welcome you with a special warmth and kindness. I hope that my recommendations will be a mini guide to Sarajevo because I really enjoyed it.
Until next time, greetings to Sarajevo, to my all readers from B&H. With love. T.
Naravno nemojte zaobici ni kolace poput baklave, tufahija, halve...
Setnju smo dalje nastavile u moderniji dio Sarajeva.
S ljubavlju. T.
